An {honest} Frugal Update…

Where has the time gone? Ah, life.

I apologize for not providing a heads up before the all of the books, giveaways, and interviews stopped ~ that wasn’t fair to the authors or the readers ~ but I thought it was only going to be for a couple weeks at the end of the year (and here we are in March!).

Although I loved running The Frugal eReader, I simply needed a break. I needed to sleep in until at least 6am and I needed to spend more time with my husband. :)  My full time career as a Marketing Manager required more from me towards the end of the year and I started a second business which I am also in love with (Paperlaced – A Rustic Chic Paper Boutique). This site demanded more of my time than I was able to dedicate to it – it’s a very hands on business that starts early and ends late each day.

I miss the interaction, but I honestly can’t say when I’ll be back. I may begin posting over Facebook so I can start connecting with everyone again!

I’m considering having someone take over the lead on the site. If you know of anyone who may be interested, or if you have any questions (or just want to say hi!) please reach out to me at etrubrown (at) thefrugalereader (dot) com.

I hope you’re still eReading frugally! :)
